The goal		Training students to understand the difference between the derivational system of Hungarian and Serbian, two genealogically and typologically unrelated languages.
The outcome		To be able to recognize derivational suffixes and prefixes and to undertake research into their behaviour in Hungarian and Serbian.
Contents
Contents of lectures		Constituents of words in Hungarian and Serbian. Classification of suffixes on the basis of the word class of the base they attach to and the resulting derivation. Hungarian suffixes for deriving verbs from verbs; verbs from nouns and adjectives; nouns, adjectives, infinitve, participles from verbs; nouns and adjectives from nouns and their Serbian equivalents.
