Contents of lectures | The concept of lexeme. The lexical stock of Hungarian. Lexemes and phrasemes. Lexical stratification. Native words, loan words and foreign words. Approaches in lexical semantics. The interrelatedness of semantic factors. Motivated and unmotivated words. Dictionary meaning and contextual meaning of words. Homonymy. Synonymy. Types of lexical fields and semantic fields. Hyperonymy and hyponymy. Paronymy. Antonymy. Models of semantic change in contemporary Hungarian. | |||
