The goal | The aim of the course is to give to students the basic knowledge from the sociological discipline that deals with the sphere of work, which includes all important human, social, cultural and technical problems of humanity. This sociological discipline has got an aim to strengthen the knowledge and professional skill of future sociologists. | |||
The outcome | The students are able to do research on various aspects of process of work, its organization, management and marketing. | |||
Contents | ||||
Contents of lectures | Appearance, constitution and development of Sociology of Work; basic notions, theoretical-methodological orientations and approaches; work as skill; identity of work and its historical forms (work and time); features of work in cultural, scientific and educational context; changes of the context of contemporary work (from pre-industrial/peasant, industrial and services); property relations and technology; professionalization and feminisation of work; changes of organisation of work; entrepreneurship and human resources; globalization transition and main trends. | |||
Contents of exercises | Preparation and presentation of certain theoretical problems and empirical findings about various aspects of work (the role of technology, organisational changes and actors of work at market and in society – especially Serbian); critique of main trends in globalization transition. | |||
